Take a historic retreat with gourmet organic restaurant, add fitness adventures, and you have a formula for a healthy holiday. This is the brainchild of the lodge and adventure company owners, Alex and Fred. Your stay with them – whether for fitness, relaxation, cultural experiences or a civil union celebration – will convince you that the Bay of Plenty was truly well named.
If taking the 3-day challenge, you first have to choose between the indoor-outdoor Indulgence and Adrenaline-Rising packages. Tough choice. Either way, you’re in for some excitement.
If pampering is your choice, you will enjoy yoga, meditation, massage and a nutrition session plus a catamaran cruise to hot pools, a Polynesian Spa treatment, stretching class and a sleep in before late check out. Aahhh.
If you choose adrenaline-producing adventures, get set for a forest run, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, bungy jumping and fitness training (or other, in season activities). This package also includes massage or reiki, meditation time, and the hot pools cruise and spa time.

NZ Elements is a unique fitness and outdoors program that takes place over three days around the Bay of Plenty. The next programs start April 28th and May 19th, and the cost is dependent on the size of the group (8 max) and choice of activities.
